Fourth World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly: this will be celebrated on Sunday 28^th July (the Sunday closest to the Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, grandparents of Jesus). The theme chosen by Pope Francis for this year's celebration is "Do not cast me off in my old age" (cf. Psalm 71:9). Click here for a prayer.

Second collection: There will be a second collection at both Masses on July 27^th and 28^th  for the Episcopal Hierarchy Commissions, which support Catechetic Programmes, Education, Emigrants, Missions, Laity, and the Irish Commission for Prisoners overseas. 

Relics of St Bernadette of Lourdes: The relics of St Bernadette will visit the Dioceses of Galway and Clonfert  from 5^th to 8^th September. More information later.
